Community Service Credit Union is Unique
Unlike other financial institutions which exist to benefit shareholders, CSCU is a not-for-profit cooperative that exists solely to serve its members, the people like you who save and borrow here. Membership is open to anyone that works, resides, worships or attends school in Walker County. At CSCU, you are not just a customer, you are an owner.

Our Beginning
Community Service Credit Union was originally chartered on April 6, 1954, as Texas Prison Employees Credit Union. The commitment and dedication of the original 55 charter members brought their vision of a different kind of financial institution to life for Texas prison employees. Over the years, our products and services have changed, as well as our name, to accomodate our growing membership. 

Hours of operation:  Main Office - Lobby:  9:00am to 5:00pm M-F; Drive-thru:  7:30am to 6:00pm M-F
