It all started when…

For many years, Mrs. Lateel Richardson single-handedly organized a back-to-school supply drive for local families in need. In the Summer of 2024, CSCU picked up the reins and hosted our first annual backpack & supply drive in recognition of Mrs. Richardson.

2nd Annual Backpack & Supply Drive

CSCU is once again collecting backpacks and supplies for local students preparing to go back to school! We’d love to see you there, either to donate or to help your kids get set for school.

What’s Happening

When: July 31, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: CSCU, 250 FM 2821 Rd W, Huntsville, TX 77320
Benefiting: Any families in Huntsville or the counties we serve. Click here to see our list of counties.
One backpack per student. Students must be present to select a backpack and collect supplies.

How to Donate

We’re accepting supplies, backpacks, and funds toward those items now through July 31.
You can drop off donations in either branch lobby during our business hours.
