Stay a step ahead.

Simple habits go a long way toward keeping your money and information safe.

Guard your numbers

Protect your account numbers, plastic card numbers, PINs (personal identification numbers), and passwords. Never keep your PIN with your card, which can provide free access to your accounts if your card is lost or stolen.

Be careful who you tell

Use caution when disclosing your account numbers, social security numbers, and other personal information. If someone calls you explaining the call is on behalf of the credit union and asks for your account number, beware. Official credit union staff will have access to your information and will not have to ask for it when we initiate a call to you.

Keep your information current

If your address or phone number changes, please let us know. It is important that we have current information on how to reach you. If we detect potentially fraudulent or unauthorized activity or use of an account, we will attempt to contact you immediately.

Slow down

Scammers often try to create a sense of urgency. Be wary of unexpected calls, texts, or emails that pressure you to act fast, send money, or share information.

Check before you click

Think twice before clicking links or opening attachments from people or companies you don’t know. When in doubt, contact the company directly using a phone number you trust.

Review your accounts

Look over your account activity and statements regularly. If you see something you don’t recognize, let us know right away.
